Jay Landen | Partner
As a Principal and founding partner, Jay Landen directs all aspects of LP Equity’s real estate investment fund including identifying new projects, financial analysis, due diligence, contract negotiation, acquisition, portfolio management, recapitalization, and dispositions. Jay has over 18 years of experience in the limited partner investment industry and prides himself in being able to structure mutually beneficial transactions and partnerships.
Since co-founding LP Equity in 2011, Jay has spearheaded the fund’s investment in over 500 multifamily housing communities totaling 35,000 apartment units and 1,800,000 square feet of commercial real estate. In his career he has overseen capital investments in 44 different states with a combined asset value that exceeds $2 billion. He has also directed LP Equity’s expanded commercial real estate portfolio that includes investment positions in office, retail, warehouse, self-storage, industrial, and health care assets.
Before co-founding LP Equity Jay was, for seven years, Vice President of Acquisitions for First Atlantic Capital, a large private equity investment fund focused on limited partner and general partner acquisitions based out of Wilmington, NC and Boston, MA.
Jay has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from East Carolina University. Jay lives in Wrightsville Beach, NC with his wife and daughter.
Adam McNutt | Partner
A seasoned professional with 19 years of experience, Adam McNutt is a pivotal force at LPE, where he serves as a founding partner and Principal. At the helm of day-to-day operations, Adam excels in identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities, orchestrating limited partner transactions, and providing astute oversight of IT management and inter-office communication.
One of Adam’s key strengths lies in portfolio management, recapitalization strategies, and dispositions, where he applies his extensive expertise to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders. Drawing from a rich background at First Atlantic Capital, Adam has worked closely with managing partners and industry pioneers, gaining invaluable insights into the complexities of the multi-family and affordable housing sectors.
LPE, under Adam’s guidance, stands out for its commitment to empowering limited partners with control over their exit strategies. The firm specializes in facilitating swift and seamless cash exchanges for limited partners, allowing them to navigate their exit paths with ease. This unique approach distinguishes LPE in the real estate investment landscape.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Currently residing in Wilmington, NC, he balances his professional endeavors with the joys of parenting three children of his own, along with four bonus children.
Ashley LeBlanc | Partner
With over 19 years of expertise in the real estate investment sector, Ashley has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of LP Equity since its founding. She oversees the company’s financial operations and asset manages the portfolio. Her leadership in business origination and financial oversight, along with her commitment to long-term vision, ensuring strategic alignment across all company functions, has driven long-term success and helped LP Equity become an industry leader.
Before becoming Partner in 2022, Ashley developed and led the team that oversaw all new business origination and facilitated numerous real estate investment projects and outside partnerships. She also helped facilitate LP Equity’s expansion of its housing portfolio to include commercial real estate, creating new growth opportunities. Her strategic efforts have led to the success of multiple private equity investment funds, with portfolios spanning 44 states, including 35,000 housing units and 1,800,000 square feet of commercial real estate.
Prior to joining LP Equity, Ashley led research and acquisitions at First Atlantic Capital, a Boston-based investment firm focused on partner acquisitions. She currently resides in Wilmington with her husband and two daughters.
Roger Gendron | Partner
Roger is one of the original founders of LP Equity and currently serves as Council to the organization. His career as a real estate entrepreneur spans four decades and includes multiple successful ventures with dozens of partners across the industry. Roger founded Silver Street Development in 1993 and has directed its growth from a regional developer to an industry leader that has acquired and redeveloped approximately 12,000 units of housing across fourteen states. During its growth, Silver Street had up to 5 properties under construction at any one time. As Silver Street grew, Roger oversaw the creation of an asset management department, construction planning and oversight department, and development and finance department. Also during this period, Roger initiated the creation of Housing Management Resources, a property management company that is responsible for approximately 6,000 units of affordable housing, and Port Harbor Construction, a construction firm.
Presently, Roger is Managing Director of The Silver Street Group (TSSG) where he provides guidance on all aspects of the stabilized portfolio. Roger Gendron is also a co-founder of First Atlantic Capital, LLC (“FAC”). FAC was formed in 2005 as an affordable housing direct investment company out of Boston, MA and Wilmington, NC. Roger’s experience, connections, and expertise within the limited partner industry makes him a valuable asset to the LP Equity team.
Kristine Glick | Senior Research Analyst
Kristine has been with LP Equity since its inception, and has played an integral role in overseeing LPE’s evolution into what it is today. As a member of the acquisition and research team, Kristine’s duties include database management and document retrieval / preparation, as well as assisting with all aspects of LPE’s commercial, residential, and multi-family real estate acquisitions.
Kristine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from UNC Wilmington. She has likewise been a licensed broker with the North Carolina Real Estate Commission since 2007 and has been licensed North Carolina Public Notary since 2005. Kristine currently resides in Wilmington, NC with her husband Elliott and son Benjamin.
Eric Goldfarb | Of Counsel
As LPE’s commercial underwriter, Eric Goldfarb has headed up the team’s recent foray into the commercial real estate market, a position he feels uniquely prepared for due to his decades of experience maneuvering through the world of New York real estate. His responsibilities with LPE include conducting market research, building dynamic financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, and acting as the main point of contact between limited partners and investor groups for commercial acquisitions.
Besides being an active partner with LPE, Eric has worked for over two decades in New York City as a Senior Manager, a position he holds currently with Dayton Holdings International N.V., a private real estate investment company with over $200 Million in assets. Eric has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Rhode Island, and has continued to live in Wilmington with his wife Lauren and daughters Nicole and Courtney.
